Awakening

Your pull whispered in feathered ink.
Soaring through pieces once dormant,
and I
find revival.
You are a secret harmony
releasing my spirit
once housed
in failing stone.
You are a loud embrace
comforting the lines
of my soul.
I did not know that my heart
would fit
in pale blue eyes
and my magic would be held
in the confines
of your skin.
I did not know that love
would hold my place,
and remind me
that I
was waiting for you.
My heart swells in this moment
knowing without even a doubt
that we
us
are so much more than
enough.
