The sky faded from a pale blue
to a deep luring black.
The belly of the beast sewn shut
by the diamonds in the sky.
I’m home beneath the woven galaxies
that circle my spirit and speak
my name.
There’s a magic in the mist
that reaches down my throat
winding to my heels.
The gifts bestowed on my spirit since birth
rise to the surface
and stake claim on the part of this multiverse
that cries for hands to ease the pain.
I’m home in the healing,
giving no more space to the dark rings
that orbited my bones.
I’m blanketed in redemption’s oil
and on my way
to heaven.
